S’mores Rice Crispy Treats

S’mores Rice Crispy Treats Recipe

Cooling Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 5 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 cups Golden Grahams cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside. 

In a large pan, melt the butter.

Add 4 cups of the mini marshmallows into the melted butter and continuously stir until they are melted. Keep the remaining one cup of marshmallows for later.

Add in the Rice Krispies, Golden Grahams, and ½ cup marshmallows until well incorporated. The marshmallows do not need to melt.

Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Spread the chocolate chips and the second ½ cup of marshmallows on top of the mixture and press into the top of the Rice Krispies. Allow to cool.

Store in an airtight container for up to five days.
