Buffalo chicken is one of the flavors that you must have at any game day party or tailgating event, right?!
We love this quick and easy cold buffalo chicken dip because it can be made in 10 minutes or less yet will still impress your friends. Buffalo hot sauce, cream cheese and ranch dressing blend together in a cream cheese base for a spicy dip perfect to pair with celery, chips or crackers.
We love buffalo chicken recipes, so be sure to see these easy ideas, too:
- Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwiches (the filling could also be used as a hot dip on its own)
- Mini Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls
Keep in mind that buffalo sauce and hot sauce are NOT the same thing! So be sure to only use buffalo sauce (we used Frank’s RedHot which states that it is buffalo hot sauce, however that’s fine because it will have the classic buffalo flavor, which normal hot sauce will not).
Canned chicken can be used for this recipe, which means you need less refrigerated ingredients. A rotisserie chicken can be shredded to use in the dip, or cook chicken breasts and then dice, chunk or pull the meat apart.
