Variations of the Recipe
- Plain rice crisp cereal can be used instead of cocoa flavored.
- We used strawberry protein powder for a chocolate-strawberry flavor. You can use chocolate protein powder for a richer chocolate taste. Vanilla would also be great.
- Any nut butter can be used, such as sunflower, peanut butter, cashew butter or almond butter.
Be sure to see our Peanut Butter Protein Bars recipe, as well. It is prepared in the same way, but with different ingredients.

Remove from the refrigerator, and lift the parchment up to remove the protein bars from the pan.
Then cut the square into 8 bars.
Store these bars in an airtight container. We love using these reusable snack bags to keep individual bars packed and ready to grab when hiking or a breakfast on the go.
