Sometimes you want to enjoy the classic s’mores dessert of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate, but there is no campfire around. That is when you want to make this easy, gooey microwave S’mores Mug Cake!
You can recreate the classic campfire s’mores flavor with a delicious gooey cake baked in your RV microwave!
We suggest mixing the dry ingredients together at home and keeping in a zip-top bag. Then, if you want a sweet snack while camping, add in the wet ingredients and bake in 2 minutes or less!

2-Minute S’mores Mug Cake Recipe
Yield: 1 serving
Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cooking Time: 2 minutes | Total Time: 7 minutes
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
- 1 tablespoon water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
- 8 miniature marshmallows
- 1 tablespoon crushed graham crackers
In a 12-ounce microwave-safe mug or other microwave-safe dish, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt until well blended.
Into the mug, add the milk, oil, water, and vanilla.
Stir together until completely mixed.
Top the raw batter with the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and graham crackers.
Microwave on high for 1 minute 45 seconds or until the middle is set.
Just in case the cake overflows, place a plate under the mug.
Garnish with additional marshmallows, chocolate, or graham crackers if you’d like!
