Easy BLT Sliders Recipe
Yields: 12 slider sandwiches
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 5-7 Minutes
Ingredients
- 12 Pack Slider Rolls
- 12 Slices Cooked Thick Bacon, halved
- ¾ Cups Mayonnaise
- 2 Roma Tomatoes, sliced to about ⅛ of an inch
- Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
- 12 Cherry Tomatoes (optional)
- 12 Small Pieces of Kale (optional)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
Slice the sliders horizontal to separate the tops and bottoms.
Toast on a baking sheet in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until desired darkness is reached.
Once the buns are removed from the oven, lay the tops of the buns down and add about 1 tablespoon mayo to the underside of each bun. Alternatively, you can just use a knife and spread it all over the bread without doing individual portions on each bun.
Place one slice of tomato on each bottom bun, or more if you want the sandwiches to have a lot of tomato flavor!
Add two slices of bacon on top of each of the tomatoes, side-by-side.
Layer the bottom buns with the shredded lettuce.
Place the top buns onto the bottom buns.
If desired, use a toothpick with one cherry tomato and a piece of kale to garnish each sandwich.
Gently separate the sandwiches before serving for easier grabbing.
To Store: Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days, although the longer you store the sandwiches the soggier they will get.
Helpful Tips
- For better color, texture, and flavor on the buns, butter both sides before toasting.
- Thick cut bacon is the best option as it adds the perfect amount of bacon without having to pile it high on each slider.
- Mayo can be substituted with another type of condiment if you prefer.
- Any type of lettuce will work, it doesn’t have to be shredded.
- Sprinkling salt over the tomato slices before putting on the sandwiches will boost the flavor of the veggies.
